Covering the basics from camera modes, exposure settings, setting up your camera and how to take good music photographs, the sessions will be mostly practical and you will work with the other participants to get to know your camera. The second session will also include a studio lit photo shoot with a young local band, allowing you to practise posing and lighting using flash and studio lights. After this we’ll also provide you with basic tips on using photoshop after you have shot your images.  Any photos you take can be used in your portfolio and it also gives you a great chance to get started in music photography make contact with an up and coming local band.
